Baringo County Senator Gideon Moi has hit out on Jubilee government for sacking officials from Rift Valley holding key government positions.
This is after David Kimaiyo and Yatich Kangugo, who held key positions, were recently relieved of their duties from Kenya Ports Authority.
He faulted the government saying the two where experienced, honest and hardworking civil servants yet they were sacked.
“The two were long honest serving servants in the government yet they were sacked by the government. This are our own asserts and this should not be entertained. We need to protect those in in government and civil service for they are the communities assert,” said Moi.
The senator called upon leaders of the region to rally together to condemn the sacking.
