The family of retired President Daniel Moi has finally sent their condolences to the late Kenneth Matiba family.
Matiba clashed with Moi during his (Moi) Kanu days in 1990s when he pushed for multiparty and Kenyans have been eager to see how the former president would react to Matiba's death.
The retired president was yet to send his condolences unlike other top leaders who sent their messages through the media.
On Monday April 22, however, Moi's younger son Gideon visited the family at the Limuru home.
"Mzee has called me six times to know if I have arrived," Gideon Moi told Edith Matiba.
Gideon delivered his condolences and that of this father.
