As the world comes to terms with the rape incident that happened at Moi Girls Nairobi, leaders and activists have come out to agitate for the sacking of the school principal.
Kenyans took to social media with radical recommendations, majority calling upon law enforcers to arrest the principal and arraign her in court.
"The principal of Moi Girls where a student was raped must be jailed for the offense of negligence," said former Kakamega senator Bonni Khalwale.
"Moi Girls School Nairobi to be closed for one week following the rape incident; parents/guardians to pick up their girls on Sunday 8am, but first meet with school administration before students are released. Education CS Amina Mohamed to inspect the school on Sunday," said Dan Mwangi.
"Principal Jael Mureithi of Moi Girls Nairobi must be sacked and taken to jail for gross negligence. Children have died, been jailed and been raped under her care. How much more should happen at Moi Girls Nairobi?!" said Wambui Waiganjo.
"The students are the ones who protested. Meaning the Moi Girls Nairobi headmistress & co. were orchestrating a cover-up? Not an investigation? What’s this?!" she added.
According to the agitators, there was a deliberate move by the school administration to hide the information from the public.
