Moi, who appeared before Nakuru Environment and Land court to explain alleged anomalies in the contents of the allotment letter and the title deed regarding the land, said he was allocated the  land in 1990.

He produced documents to prove ownership of the land.

A private developer, Jackson Ruto, is also laying claim to the land.

The defendant's lawyer dismissed Moi's testimony saying it is inaccurate.

The case will be mentioned on October 20 for further directions.
