He said KANU is supporting electronic mode of transmitting election results as opposed Jubilee Party.

"That is the format of transmitting election results that we want IEBC to adopt. That is the way to go and nothing short of that," he told the Star.

Speaking during the Teso Cultural Day at Kakemer Secondary School grounds in Teso North Constituency, Moi said passing of the Bill would throw the country into havoc.

The Baringo Senator vowed to block the bill at the floor of the house.

"I will reject any attempts by Jubilee to revert to the manual system," he said on Saturday.

Last week, the Senate referred Elections Amendment Bill 2016 to the courts of public opinion.

Jubilee Members of Parliament endorsed the contentious bill even after their Opposition counterparts walked out of Parliament in protest.

Senate speaker Ekwe Ethuro has already recalled Senators for another special sitting scheduled on Thursday, January 5th 2017.

The Senate Legal Committee is set to table its recommendations on that day.
