Baringo senator Gideon Moi has yet again launched a scathing attack on Deputy President William Ruto terming him an 'arrogant' individual who cannot be President.
The personal feuds between the due have escalated in recent weeks with the DP urging Baringo residents to elect only Jubilee aspirants in August elections.
Moi, who is also the KANU chairman, is yet to settle on the presidential candidate his party will support and was given a task by party delegates to chose in two weeks time which elapses within this week.
"I wonder than someone can come here and lecturer you on which party to vote. What he doesn't know is that Rift Valley has shifted from dictatorial leadership," he said on Sunday at Koibatek.
Moi added: "These arrogant individuals will not even make it if they attempt going for presidency. I am pretty sure that Kenyans are tired with such kind of people," he said without making direct reference to Ruto.
The war of words between the two leaders also saw former First Lady Mama Ng'ina Kenyatta paying courtesy call former President Daniel Moi, father to the Baringo senator.
Even though Gideon has not revealed his presidential candidate of choice, pundits say he would settle on President Uhuru Kenyatta due to close family ties.
