Baringo senator Gideon Moi has for the first time addressed the state of his relationship with Deputy President William Ruto.
This is after Moi stated that his KANU party will support President Uhuru Kenyatta’s re-election but they were not comfortable with Ruto.
Speaking to a local daily on Sunday, Moi maintained he had no problem with Ruto.
“I have never crossed his path. He is not my enemy. We have never crossed each other’s paths. Ruto is not in my radar at this juncture,” he said.
He further divulged that he is not aware of DP Ruto’s 2022 presidential ambitions.
“Ruto has never told me he wants to be president in 2022. He has never asked for my support,” he added.
