Baringo Senator Gideon Moi says he is prepared to send Deputy President William Ruto to political oblivion as 2022 presidential race starts to gain moment.
Moi, who is serving as senator for the second term, further says his plans will even shock his father and mentor Daniel Moi.
"We are done with 2017 and it is time now to face one William Ruto in the most fierce political duel in the history of this country," he said at a Baraza on Monday in Kabartonjo.
He added: "Let him continue moving around the country saying our votes are in pocket.What lies ahead of him will shock many."
Political rivalry between the two are synonymous with Kenyans given their public spat despite both supporting reelection of President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Recently, details emerged that Uhuru had signed a secret MoU with Moi that will see KANU reap cabinet posts.
In the recent past, DP Ruto's allies have publicly denounced Moi with some accusing him of belittling the country's second in command.
