Baringo senator Gideon Moi has defended President Uhuru Kenyatta on corruption allegations.
Speaking on Saturday at Oledeem Village in Narok North Constituency during the thanksgiving ceremony for the newly appointed ACK Archbishop Jackson Ole Sapit, the KANU chairman blamed people close to the presidency for the corruption woos that have rocked President Kenyatta's administration, saying Uhuru means well for the country.
“Uhuru is a good President who means well for this country. I have grown up with him and he is my friend. He is not a thief but those around him are the problem,” he said.
Opposition Leader Raila Odinga who was also present put the Jubilee administration on the spot, saying it has failed to effectively fight corruption in the country.
