Moi University Acting Vice Chancellor (VC) Prof Laban Ayiro is on Wednesday, March 21, scheduled to handover powers to the newly appointed VC.

Ayiro who has been at the helm of the Uasin Gishu's Kesses-based learning institution for a year, will handover to incoming substantive VC Prof Isaac Kosgey. 

A communication from the University on Tuesday, said the ceremony would be presided over by chairman of council, Dr Jeremiah Ntoloi Ole Koshal at 9:00am, main campus in Kesses.

The outgoing Ag. VC took over from Prof Richard Mibei who led the University for 10-years.

Ayiro was appointed by the then Education Cabinet Secretary Dr Fred Matiang'i.
