A section of business people in Molo, Nakuru County have vowed to campaign for the re-election of President Uhuru Kenyatta on October, 17 presidential polls.
Charles Muraya, chairman for Molo Business Community said they will take it upon themselves to maximise the voter turnout in the region.
“We will hold a strategic meeting next week with all the stakeholders in the transport sector to plan on how people in the villages. Those who are ill or elderly will be ferried to their polling stations,” said Muraya.
He said the move will ensure Jubilee administration remains in power to create an enabling environment for their businesses.
“Under the Jubilee government, work permits fees have been reduced with improved security in Molo Town,” noted Muraya.
He added that Jubilee government has constructed and renovated roads which have helped the farmers, who depend on road transport to ferry their farm produce to the market.
“In the repeat of polls, we are expecting 99 percent voter turnout, not only in Molo town but in all Jubilee strongholds,” he said.
