This has been facilitated by the construction of quality self-contained residential quarters through funding from the CDF kitty, MP Jacob Macharia has said.

Speaking on Thursday after officially commissioning newly refurbished quarters at Mukombolozi dispensary, Macharia noted that the project is aimed at ensuring provision of quality healthcare and avoid cases of losing life in the process of waiting for doctors who don't live within the hospital.

"Life is precious and all of us have the responsibility of preserving it always and so, let us have our medical practitioners on location to attend to all emergency cases at any given time," he said.

"Let housing not be an excuse because my office through the CDF kit has committed to constructing new doctor's quarters in all health facilities to avoid cases of our doctors renting better houses far away," he added.

He called on the county government to help equip the health facilities so as to assure Molo residents of their health. Similar modern doctor quarters have been completed at Nyakiambi, Marioshoni and Elburgon dispensaries.
