A sombre mood engulfed Maishani village in Molo after residents stumbled on a body of a middle-aged man.

The body was found Sunday morning and had been stripped.

Members of the public said they heard the father of three screaming some moments before dawn when he was attacked by unknown people.

Witnesses said the man had been strangled by a pullover and had deep cuts on his hands.
