[Photo: citizen.co.ke]A matatu driver plying the Molo-Njoro road was on Wednesday arraigned in court for allegedly raping a 15-year-old girl.The minor said the driver refused to have her alight at her destination and instead sped off to his home.
“I was coming from Njoro town and heading to Elburgon but the driver did not stop and sped off straight to Molo where he took me to his house, locked it and defiled me,” narrated the minor.The suspect later dropped her off in town and threatened her against exposing him.
She however disclosed the ordeal to her uncle who reported the matter to police.
The suspect was charged before Molo Senior Principal Magistrate David Wahome.
He pleaded not guilty.He was freed on a Sh200,000 bond.
