An MCA in Nakuru County Assembly has exuded confidence in himself and his area MP saying their development record is reason enough to have them re-elected.
This, says Turi Ward MCA Michael Wang'ombe, will give him and Molo MP Jacob Macharia enough time to complete the projects they started in an attempt to improve the livelihoods of Molo residents.
Speaking in his Turi backyard on Tuesday, Wang'ombe attributed the positive strides being witnessed in the constituency to a good working relationship between himself and Macharia, saying more is yet to come.
"As much us it is your responsibility as the electorate to decide come 2017, I believe we (him and MP Macharia), deserve a second chance. It is self explanatory because the difference is so evident ever since you elected us," he added.
He rubbished claims that they were partnering to swindle development funds terming the allegations as baseless and inappropriate, and is meant to tarnish their good names.
"If anybody wishes to take over from us, let him wait until we complete our second term or campaign maturely. They should come before you with facts, not just mere propaganda and unconfirmed rumors," he said.
Under their tenure, the area has beneffited from the Molo KMTC, Elburgon Technical Training Institute, a Safaricom booster, upgrading of major feeder roads including the dilapidated Molo-Kibunja-Njoro road among other development projects that Wang'ombe is counting on as surety for a second term.
