Despite the intensive lobbying done by Borabu Member of Parliament Ben Momanyi to be considered to be one of the MPs representing NASA in the Parliamentary Service Commission his efforts bowed no fruits as NASA landed on different names.
In the list the National Assembly Minority Leader John Mbadi confirmed to journalists that they had agreed as a coalition to nominate Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo Junior and MPs Gladys Wanga and Aisha Jumwa (Malindi, ODM) to the powerful commission.
The nomination is absolutely parallel to the expectations of Momanyi who had confirmed that he had an upper hand to be selected as the chairperson of the PSC.
The tussle in however expected in the parliament once the house commence their sitting as Mbadi will need to explain on how they landed on the names before getting it approved.
The move comes at a time a section of Borabu residents vowed to ditch NASA and supporting Raila as well if he wont consider Momanyi in any post.
Led by Andrew Mogoko the residents on Monday said Momanyi had stood for NASA and there is need in return to award him with a post.
"We hope Momanyi will be given a post by NASA and if not we will withdraw oursupport and root for another political move" said Mogoko
