The lawmaker said he will start working on roads in Chepilat which are in a deplorable condition due to the ongoing heavy rains.

"I have heard the cry of my people who are struggling with the bad roads in the constituency. I therefore, wish to assure the locals that the repair of the roads starting from Chepilat will commence in a weeks time for my constituents to ferry their farm products to the markets for selling to get income," he said.

The MP said already he has ordered the CDF committee to start inviting contractors to apply for the tenders to work on the roads in the region.

Momanyi denied that he has given a deaf ear to the locals' calls to repair and upgrade the roads saying his political rivals are on his neck spreading hatred and propaganda to make the locals angry.

"All the lies being peddled by my political rivals that I will divert development funds to my law firm and personal projects will not work because I know my constituents will not listen to political losers and idlers who desperate to become leaders," noted the MP.
