Borabu MP Ben Momanyi has reiterated that the constitution must be amended for the sake of peace in this country.
The Wiper party MP said unity will prevail among Kenyans at all times once the constitution will be changed.
“We don’t want to continue witnessing election violence in this country after every five years when we go into elections.
"The constitutional changes will help end election chaos in this country because political losers who enjoy massive support across the country will be absorbed into government,” he said.
He challenged President Uhuru Kenyatta to convince his Deputy William Ruto to accept for the constitutional changes to be done.
“Uhuru should advice his Deputy on the constitutional changes. Ruto has no authority to stop us from pushing for the constitutional changes.
"We must fix the laws to accommodate every community failure to which election chaos will not end in this country,” he added.
He urged Raila Odinga not to be persuaded by anyone to drop his constitutional changes plans.
