The Mombasa Agricultural Society of Kenya (ASK) show which was scheduled to start on August 24, has been postponed to August 31 due to 'unavoidable circumstances'.
In a notice issued on Friday, ASK Chief Executive Officer Batram Muthoka said the society regrets the changes.
"The society highly regrets any inconveniences caused by the change occasioned by unforeseen and unavoidable circumstances," read the notice in part.
The exhibitors will have their final meeting on August 26 at the Jomo Kenyatta Show Ground, Mkomani, which is also the event's venue.
"The final exhibitors meeting is scheduled for August 26 at 2pm at the show ground," Muthoka said.
"The theme remains: Enhancing Technology in Agriculture and Industry for food security and national growth," he added.
President Uhuru Kenyatta will officially open the show on September 1.
