Mombasa based music label, Banduka Music Group, has been signed up by a music publishing company based in Los Andeles, USA.
Beat commander USA, a Los Angeles music marketing company went into a deal with Banduka Music Group that will see it publicise their songs around the world.
Banduka Music Group, a sister company to Coastal Film Productions, will be the sole agent of Beat Commander USA in Africa.
Coastal Films CEO Hassan Faisal said Beat commander USA will be responsible for marketing songs produced by artistes from Banduka Music Label to radio stations, advertisement agencies and movie studious around the world.
Mr Faisal said the Beat Commander USA is targeting talented upcoming artists around the African Continent.
According to Nairobi News, Mr Faisal said Banduka Music Group will be responsible for sourcing new and upcoming talents in Mombasa and around Africa for the US company.
“We have already signed two artists from Tanzania and several artists from Mombasa including, Prince Adio, Burningice, Nunda Malick, Dizole Leo, Silver Mkali and Emily Mia,” he said.
“Our artists are going to make royalties for all songs played around the world. If you lucky and your song is used in any Hollywood movies, an artist can make a minimum of $30,000,” said Mr Faisal.
He added that artists will not be required to pay for studio time or photo shoot.
