Mombasa governor hopeful Suleiman Shahbal has joined fellow Arsenal fans across the World in demanding the sacking of their manager Arsene Wenger.
Shahbal just like other raged Arsenal fans could not take it anymore after watching their club being tormented 5-1 in their own turf by the German machines, Bayern Munich, during their UEFA Champions League return leg match played on Tuesday night. The businessman, who is seeking to unseat Governor Hassan Joho in the August polls took to his Facebook page to voice his dejection, claiming Arsene Wenger has run out of ideas and should be shown the door.According to Shahbal, Arsenal will sink even further should the Frenchman continue to remain at the helm of the English Premier League Club.“Arsenal has lost its competitiveness under Arsene Wenger and as long as he remains in charge, we shall forever remain an average team which can’t compete and deliver good results.”“Wenger must now pack and go! How long shall we be waiting for ‘next season'”, read the post.Similar messages were evident during the proceedings of the clash where angry Arsenal fans carried ‘Sack Wenger’ banners in protest of the team’s losing streak. The 5-1 mauling by Bayern saw Arsenal knocked out of the competition on an aggregate of 10-2, a result that has since left the club with only FA Cup to challenge for this season.
