Mvita MP Sharrif Nassir is among local leaders who witnessed skaters participate in a National Roller Skating Championship in the categories of speed roller skating and freestyle in Mombasa.

Nassir congratulate the roller-skating association (both the National and Mombasa chapters) for the successful 2-day tournament which ended on Sunday, April 22.

The lawmaker requested the Association's Mombasa chapter to organize another local Roller Skating competition.

"We shall fully sponsor (the competition) through the Shariff Nassir Foundation as away of boosting the popularity of the sport," said the MP who also had a fun moment with the participants.
