The nominated MCA Moses Aran has said categorically that the county is still ready to host the swearing-in ceremony after NASA's communique that the plan will be conducted before January lapses.

"We are still resisting and supporting Raila's cause. We are eagerly waiting for their command which we will implement on the ground," he said on Thursday.

The MCA said this just after the People's Assembly committee announced that Raila and Kalonzo Musyoka will be sworn in this month.

"This time, we are not missing it (inauguration)," Aran said, signaling NASA's push to take on the Jubilee administration over the dispute 2017 presidential poll.

The committee led by NASA strategist David Ndii said the Assumption of Office team that will be unveiled soon is still in the last minute preparations for the Ceremony.

He added that they are still waiting for NASA leader's communication on the planned oath taking ceremony which was postponed twice.

The coalition, which has refused to acknowledge the legitimacy of President Uhuru Kenyatta, had announced it would hold the much-anticipated ceremony to coincide with last year's Mashujaa Day.
