Sub-county and county ward administrators in Mombasa County have been taken through an induction training.
The induction training, that took place on Friday at Pride Inn hotels was aimed at enhancing service delivery at the grassroots.
Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho said the county government conducted the training for the newly appointed administrators in order to develop ward policies and plans, as well as ensure effective and efficient service delivery.
"I wish them well as they start serving the residents of Mombasa,” said Joho.
The administrators received training on administration duties such as the liaising with the county government at the grassroots, how to develop ward plans and policies and how to improve service delivery.
The administrators will act as the eyes of the county government in the grassroots, reporting on all matters that need attention.
