Mombasa County Governor has said that the county's residents will not support President Uhuru Kenyatta and the Jubilee government come 2017.
Speaking on Wednesday when he presented title deeds to Kidogo Basi residents, Hassan Joho said the Coast region is a Cord zone and the residents are fully behind Raila Odinga.
"You (President Kenyatta) will never get support from Mombasa and the larger Coast region because you have neglected the region,” said Joho.
“This is Raila Odinga's stronghold and I fully support him as the county governor,” added Joho.
In January, Joho accused President Uhuru Kenyatta of ignoring him during his tour of the county.
The governor also faulted the president for directing the Waitiki land squatters to pay for their title deeds, saying squatters in other parts of the country are usually not subjected to the same treatment.
