More than 13 Wiper Party aspirants in Mombasa County who lost in the Tuesday nominations now want the exercise repeated.Led by Nyali MP hopeful Mark Ouma, the group accused party secretary general Hassan Omar of meddling in the exercise claiming he had a preferred list of people he wanted nominated, kbctv.co.ke has reported.They further claimed the Senator colluded with the national elections board to have his preferred candidates win the nominations.They said Omar's actions will cost the party dearly in the forthcoming August 8 general election.They also claimed there were glaring irregularities during the exercise which saw some of them lose to their rivals.During the Wiper nominations, Lawrence Kisulu won the ticket for the senatorial race in the forthcoming August general election after trouncing Jabez Oduor.In Nyali, John Mcharo emerged the winner after defeating his opponent, Mark Ouma.In the women rep race, Zamzam Mohammed floored Afia Rama to clinch the coveted Wiper ticket.David Mulinge will now fight for the Changamwe parliamentary seat in the August polls.
