Jubilee's Mombasa Women Representative aspirant Ms Amina Abdalla has exuded confidence in beating her opponents in the race to replace Mishi Mboko, who is contesting for the Likoni Parliamentary seat.Abdalla, who floored seven other opponents to clinch the Jubilee ticket, is set to lock horns with ODM’s Asha Mohamed.Abdalla said she deserves the seat because her performance scoreboard speaks for itself, adding that none of her competitors can match up to her when it comes to matters development.“I have done more for the people of Mombasa than any of my competitors in terms of social development and I believe I stand a better chance of clinching the Mombasa Woman Rep position,” said Abdalla, as quoted by the Nation. She argued that she has been on the forefront in the fight against drug addiction, rehabilitation of the mentally ill as well as empowerment of youth, women, and persons living with disabilities. Wiper and Maendeleo Chap Chap parties have also fielded candidates in the race. Ms Zamzam Mohammed will fly the Wiper flag while Maendeleo Chap Chap will be represented by Halima Anwar Mohamed.
