Garissa Township MP Aden Duale has warned Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka, telling him that NASA might end up not endorsing his presidential bid in 2022.
Duale claims that Kalonzo will be short-changed in the NASA agreement if he is not careful.
Speaking to journalists in Garissa on Wednesday, the National Assembly leader of Majority said that Kalonzo committed political suicide by accepting to deputise Raila Odinga in the NASA presidential line up.
“The mistake my friend Kalonzo did was accepting to deputise Raila Odinga when in real sense he should have been the one on the presidential ballot,” he said as quoted by the Standard.
Duale said that Kalonzo is being ‘played’ and that he should forget about contesting for presidency in 2022 because NASA has a preferred candidate.
The Garissa Town MP at the same time alleged that Raila Odinga bribed NASA principals to endorse his presidential bid.
“I can tell you that money exchanged hands to have Raila fly the NASA ticket,” he alleged.
The vocal Garissa MP cautioned Kenyans against supporting NASA saying the alliance does not care for their interests.
He said that NASA leaders have nothing better to offer than what President Uhuru Kenyatta is offering the country.
The MP urged NASA to campaign on issues and not propaganda. He also called on the opposition to preach peace and unity in their campaigns.
NASA unveiled its presidential line up last week and is expected to hold its first rally in Nakuru next week.
