Moses Wetangula's Ford Kenya party has been dealt with a huge blow after Nyamira senator Mong'are Okong'o announced plans to ditch it for another party.
Okong'o's remarks comes few hours after Wetangula held series of rallies inn the South Nyanzan county on Sunday in a bid to popularize his party.
Mong'are who was addressing journalists on Sunday at his Sironga home, accused the party of sidelining him in execution of crucial activities.,
"I have no intention to run on a Ford Kenya ticket in 2017 polls. The party has not been involving me in execution of crucial party businesses whether in the house or elsewhere," said the renowned lawyer.
"I don't recall any moment the party has stood with me not even in 2013 nominations. i have been walking all alone and they understand that perfectly," added Mong'are, who is facing a tough challenge to retain his seat from outspoken former LSK boss Okong'o Mogeni.
