Mvita MP Sharrif Nassir has officially launched the BINTYZ Mentorship, an all-women empowerment monthly forum.
The lawmaker launched the forum where it provides platform for women from as far as three counties (Mombasa, Kilifi and Kwale) to meet-up to empower each other on various socio-economic areas.
He congratulated the initiative on Friday and shared various women empowerment success stories that they have been able to achieve as a constituency.
This even as the MP opened the new sanitary units at Coast Girls which was fully done courtesy of NG-CDF Mvita.
A large student population in the school led to the commissioning of the modern sanitary facility which has now hugely increased the capacity of the old one.
"This is a big relief for the students and we are proud to have launched the new units," Nassir said on Thursday.
