Busia Governor Sospeter Ojaamong attended the burial of Eng Ernest Achibo Awori, the brother to former Vice President Moody Awori.

Eng Awori, 81, was rushed to Nangina Mission hospital on September 27, where he passed on, few hours after being admitted.

Ojaamong said death had robbed the Awori family, of a man whose career as architectural engineer had helped revolutionize the housing industry in the county.

During the ceremony in Funyula, Samia Sub-county on Saturday, Ojaamong thanked the people of Samia for supporting his re-election, in the August 8 general elections, saying he wouldl work with leaders from the area to deliver services to the residents.

He later attended the burial of former Agenga Nanguba Member of the County Assembly, Levis Majale's brother.
