Over 80 aspirants who participated in Turkana County Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party primaries are now calling for nullification of the results.

The aspirants have urged the National Election Board (NEB) to nullify the results and repeat the exercise.

They have alleged that the process was marred with massive irregularities.

Speaking in Lodwar on Monday, the aspirants, who included MCAs, MPs and women representatives, the aspirants have accused Turkana Governor Josphat Nanok for favoring specific candidates in the process.

Led by Elim Jumapili, a Turkana South parliamentary aspirant, the politicians say that ‘favored’ candidates were given an opportunity to look at ODM’s voter register two weeks prior to the nomination.
