Esther Mburu and Ann Wangui have been fighting accusations of forging Daniel Njenga, their brother's signature to be able to control a vast wealth left behind by their late father, Titus Ndoge, who died eight years ago.

The prosecution side, led by Chief prosecutor Richard Cheruiyot on Friday asked the court for more time to present additional charges against the two.

“Your honour, we would like the court to grant us some more time to present additional charges against the two accused so that all the charges can run concurrently,” Cheruiyot told the court.

He further noted that the accused's family has written to the Director of Public Prosecutions Keriako Tobiko requesting to be allowed to include more charges in the ongoing case, saying that some things were left out in the initial charges.

The accused are represented in court by two lawyers, and are out on Sh200,000 bond each.
