After reports of the death of IEBC's ICT director Chris Msando, details are now trickling in as the country tries to unravel the mystery around the death.

So far, the following has been gathered from the media.

1. Msando was last seen on Friday at his at Anniversary Towers office in Nairobi on Friday, July 28.

2. A CCTV camera last caught him on Mombasa Road Saturday 2.30am.

3. The last communication from him was an SMS text sent to one of his colleagues on Saturday morning.

4. Police found his body and another of an unidentified woman in Kikuyu.

5. His family reported his missing status at Embakasi Police Station, Saturday July 29.

6. His Land Rover Discovery was discovered on Saturday at the TRM parking lot.

7. Unconfirmed reports say the body was taken to the City Mortuary on Sunday.

8. Msando's body was found mutilated with a missing arm.

9. Before his body was found, Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria posted the following on his Facebook account.

"So this is Chris Msando’s vehicle right now here at Roysambu. The idiot is enjoying sweet time with a woman. And the story was that he is privy to ‘rigging’ and he can't be found. Verily, verily I say unto you Raila. You will not burn this country. Not when I am alive."

Kuria has since pulled down the post.

10. His last appearance publicly was an interview with KTN’s Darubini ya Siasa where he explained how the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) was to use the electronic system to identify the voters.

11. Chris had received death threats and he had reported the matter to Central Police Station. The threats were linked to his job, police say.
