Nairobi County residents have every reason to smile as their hopes in the City's governor is getting restored each day.
In the recent past, a majority of Kenyans especially those living in the country's capital have expressed their displeasure on the leadership of their current governor, Mike Mbuvi Sonko.
This became evident, particularly when the deputy Governor Polycap Igathe resigned, citing frustrations in working with the governor. Many thought this was the beginning of the end of Governor Sonko.
He has however proved otherwise by coming out stronger than before. He has initiated the upgrade of various health facilities within the city as part of his manifestos during the campaigns for August polls which saw him emerge victorious.
On his social media account, he assured that health facilities within the County will be upgraded to required standards.
"In line with my manifesto, health facilities in the county will be upgraded to required standards. My Administration has started the upgrade of MutuiniDistrictHospital in Dagoretti from it's former 30 to 100- bed capacity." He wrote.
