Slightly a week after a section of Rift Valley MPs blamed President Uhuru Kenyatta's handlers on allegedly hiding in war against corruption to 'bring down' DP William Ruto, more leaders have aired their voice on the matter.
Nandi Senator Samson Cherargei had claimed that the war against graft has been politicised adding that Ruto is the main target in the long run.
"We want a fair fight against corruption. It should not be guided by 2022 polls. Some people are trying to make the DP look corrupt," he said.
Similarly, on Saturday, a Jubilee politician from Nyamira, who spoke in confidence, claimed that Uhuru is determined to bring down his deputy in the name of fighting graft.
And in Nyamira, Women Rep Jerusha Momanyi opposed lifestyle audit being fronted by President Uhuru, insisting that it could prejudice innocent people.
"Some people won businesses in their families or even friends names. Using lifestyle audit could be misleading," she said.
Kitutu Masaba MP Shadrack Mose added: "We do not have a parameter that they will use in auditing someone. I prefer that they stick to polygraph tests."
A determined Uhuru on Thursday vowed to ensure corrupt government officials are jailed within the four years before he retires.
