Tharaka Nithi Governor Muthomi Njuki is the latest leader to codemn NASA leader Raila Odinga for visiting retired President Daniel Moi.

Njuki has accused Odinga of what he termed betrayal of the handshake between him and President Uhuru Kenyatta. 

Speaking while launching a dairy project in Maara Sub County, Njuki said Mr Odinga has gone against the spirit of the handshake.

The county boss stated that Raila was after selfish interests. 

He took issue with Odinga’s visit to former President Daniel Moi saying his aim was to strategise about his political future.

His sentiments came after National Assembly Majority leader Aden Duale stated that those visiting Moi will not benefit during the 2022 General Polls.
