Slightly a day after taking over as Senate Minority Leader, leaders from ODM party have hailed Siaya Senator James Orengo as a visionary leader.
In Nairobi on Tuesday, despite the condemnation, ODM leader lauded the decision to out NASA leader Moses Wetangula in unlikely turn of events.
"You cannot have one cow and be elected to take care of a cattle dip. That cannot happen," said Narok Senator Ledama Ole Kina.
And the matter has been picked up by a host of leaders from Nyamira County, who joined area senator Okong'o Mogeni in welcoming Orengo's leadership.
Led by assembly Majority Leader, the MCAs said the move was 'long overdue' adding that Orengo's leadership would strengthen the party.
"What happened is normal and we support it. We must be in charge of both leadership so that we revamp our party," said.
However, a section of Wiper leaders from the county, led by politician Victor Swanya, termed the move as dictatorial and uncalled for.
