Barely a week after taking Dagoretti North MP Simba Arati head on over his Chinese wife, more leaders from Gusii have joined the debate demanding for Millicent Omanga's resignation.
At a fund drive in South Mugirango, Omanga dismissed Arati's installation as Gusii community spokesman, adding that he may have been misled by his 'Chinese wife'.
Wiper Vice Chairman Victor Swanya asked Omanga to step aside if at all she stands for morality and respect.
"It is quite demeaning to attack someone who has ambitions. It is even worrying when you drag her family. Time has come for Omanga to resign," he said.
Similar calls were made by Bokeira MCA Callen Atuya who accused Omanga of thriving on politics of division.
"It is quite senseless to attack someone just because you differ politically. Omanga should do women favour by resigning."
