Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i has yet again come under sharp criticism over detention of six NASA bloggers.
With information about their Tuesday's arrest of the six remaining scanty, sources say they are linked to organizing NASA activities within Kisii and Nyamira Counties.
Ex-Kitutu Masaba MP Timothy Bosire termed the detentions 'illegal' adding that they should be arraigned in court.
"The law is clear and time has come for the state to respect it. We demand that they are released without condition," he said.
Nyamira County Assembly Majority Leader Duke Masira said: "The youths should be respected and whoever is behind their tribulations should be condemned."
They include Psephologist Nyamwaro, Paul Ochora, Rodgers Onyancha, Paul Makini and Dennis Mosoti.
Government authorities in Kisii Police Station remained tight-lipped on the issue with a police source claiming they were working with instructions from Vigilante House.
