A day after ODM leader Raila Odinga had his party backing referendum calls, more leaders have joined the bandwagon.

Although it yet clear what he wants changed, leadership structure is among key issues that will emanate from the referendum in which parliamentary system will be championed for.

Borabu MP Ben Momanyi, a one time NASA rebel, said constitutional changes will do away with 'traditional disparities' in the country.

"Whoever opposing the amendments should just think twice. We must have an all inclusive constitution if we want to do away with the disparities,' he said.

On his part, Kitutu Chache South MP Richard Onyonka said referendum will improve the cohesiveness in the country besides curbing cut throat competitions in elections.

"I agree completely that we need to change the system. We cannot do things the same way and expect different results. Let us try what works."
