Despite controversy surrounding his inauguration as people's president, more leaders have continued to heap praises on Raila Odinga.
Last week, the US and other allied nations termed the inauguration as inconsequential, sparking heated social media debate.
And in Gusii, leaders have backed the occasion, adding that it would pave way for structured dialogue with Jubilee administration.
"The event has now set a good pace for dialogue. It was the only alternative to show Jubilee they are not in control," said Charles Geni, Ex-North Mugirango MP.
His ODM Treasurer counterpart Timothy Bosire said: "Jubilee never won the election and as leaders, we fully support the swearing-in."
President Uhuru Kenyatta's administration has continued to unleash on leaders behind the event with Canadian based lawyer Miguna Miguna being the latest victim.
Sources say that the government could revoke travelling Visa and passports ti prevent NASA leaders from fleeing the country.
