The East African community team of election observers has lauded IEBC for a job well done.

While addressing the press, Edward Rugumayo, head of the EAC observer mission called on the public to peacefully await the official announcement from IEBC.

The team also asked the media not to speculate, noting what journalists say can easily be misinterpreted.

The sentiments come after another host of observers lauded IEBC for conducting the polls in a peaceful manner.
