According to Nation, additional officers have been deployed to Migori county after violent scenes were witnessed during the repeat presidential elections on Thursday.
Lorries ferrying the troops begun to stream into the county headquarters from morning despite the cancellation of a rescheduled presidential election by the IEBC on Friday.
Additional officers were deployed to Nyamira, Kisii and Bomet county simultaneously.
The regions experienced violent protests during the October 26 presidential poll that saw many of the NASA supporters hinder IEBC officials from conducting the poll.
Many roads were blocked in the regions forcing IEBC to call off the repeat polls in the four counties of Kisumu, Migori, Siaya and Homa Bay.
