The commission is said to be unfit since it seems to be failing in everything.

The opposition party CORD had earlier called for the team being disbanded. Pressure came from Jubilee party that the commission members should resign.

In another turn of events, the KANU party has joined the forces saying the commission is unfit for the office.

KANU has been in quarrels with the commission since March 7 this year. The party says the commission worked in hand with Jubilee party to rig Kericho by-elections. The commission, however, said the claims are not true since there was no evidence.

The leader of the majority in parliament, Aden Duale had last week said the commission should not be allowed to be in office since it was unfit to handle the general elections set to take place next year.

CORD coalition, on the other hand, has started to push for the disbandment of the commission through the OKOA Kenya signatures which are currently being verified by the IEBC.
