Odinga, however, still remains the most preferred candidate by Kenyans on the opposition side gaining 51 percent, Kalonzo follows with 42 percent while Mudavadi is third on 41 percent, Ford Kenya's Moses Wetangula came a distant third with 34 percent.

The closeness in percentages between Mudavadi and Kalonzo is throwing a spanner in the works as this may change the calculus in selecting a presidential flag bearer and running mate in NASA.

The national super alliance committee is yet to announce its flagbearer barely less than 6 months to the general elections.
