Borabu MP Ben Momanyi has challenged Interior CS Fred Matiang'i to resign and join active politics to try his luck.
The Wiper party MP said Matiangi'i should stop hiding in government but participating in politics.
"Matiang'i is a public servant who should stop participating in politics while in office. I wish to urge him to resign from his position and join active politics we face humiliation together in politics," said Momanyi.
The lawmaker stated that Jubilee government has failed to respect the constitution by allowing public servants to engage in politics publicly.
"It is sad that the same government which should be at the forefront defending the constitution is leading in abusing the constitution.
"President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto must sack the Cabinet secretaries such as Matiang'i who has shown interest to join politics and appoint new people who are ready to serve one master at a time," he noted
Momanyi said the Gusii community and her leaders will not risk supporting Matiang'i to deputize Ruto in 2022 because the duo will make up a bad government full of dictatorship.
