A section of Union officials from Kisii county has now urged the Kenya National Union of Teachers secretary-general Wilson Sossion to step down honorably and concentrate on Parliament issues and leave the union alone.
According to the unionists who were accompanied by former Kisii South Knut branch executive secretary Geoffrey Mogire, Sossion's recent interference with the union matters and demands from him for the chairman, Mudzo Nzili aren't in order as he is the one who should resign first.
"Sossion was nominated as an MP, therefore, its high time he stops meddling on union matters and resign give the officials in office to move the union forward," said Mogire.
Their sentiments come barely few days after Sossion wrote a letter to the chairman to go on retire for attaining the age of 60 something that have brought mixed reactions from various parts of the country.
