The lawyer took to social media and questioned Passaris stand, saying she was not being fair to the electorate.

According to the lawyer,  it is an injustice for the supporters to hear that the women rep has relinquished her seat to become the deputy.

Posting on his Twitter, Ahmednasir noted: "So the seat we elected you to is a mere stepping stone...to a better/bigger office? Not fair to the electorate of Nairobi!" Passaris asks Sonko to name her deputy governor," he added sarcastically.

On Tuesday, Passaris elicited mixed reactions after she said she was ready to serve in the new post in the spirit of the handshake.

Sonko had earlier on appointed deported Lawyer Miguna Miguna for the position, a move that didn’t augur well with Jubilee leadership.

“The governor needs a deputy and if he cannot find one I am willing to take the position. I have already asked Sonko if I can be his deputy and in the spirit of the March 9th handshake we can have a NASA-Jubilee partnership,” she mentioned.
