Kisii town was on Monday filled with excitement following the return of self-proclaimed National Resistant Movement (NRM) General Miguna Miguna who was deported to Canada.
Mr Miguna was deported following a controversial swearing-in ceremony at Uhuru Park that saw ODM leader Raila Odinga been sworn in as the peoples' president.
Mr Benedict Osoro dressed in a Muslim cap similar to those worn by the General said that he was happy that at last Mr Miguna was coming back to the country.
Another local Msafi Orori said that Mr Miguna was welcomed to the country but he should be told that Kenyans want to work with Jubilee.
“Welcome but remember Kenya is a jubilee zone. NASA is a long forgotten name. Raila deviated the cause and he is in Jubilee.”
Another local, Doreen Moraa said that she was ready to support anything that Mr Miguna will ask his supporters to do.
He asked him to join hands with Nasa principals, Moses Wetangula, Kalonzo Musyoka and Musalia Mudavadi in forming a political party.
"I will support the coalition and ensure that I vote for them," she said.
In a Facebook post on Sunday, Mr Miguna said that he was returning to the country after the deportation courtesy of Mr Odinga.
